The Robbinsville Township Fire Department is accepting applications for the position of Firefighter/EMT. Applicants will take part in an examination process for the purpose of establishing a hiring list. Applicants are required to be between the ages of 18 and 35, a New Jersey State resident, and possess a valid State of New Jersey Driver’s license at the time of appointment. Graduation from high school, vocational high school, or possession of an approved high school equivalency certificate is required. Applicants must also be certified in New Jersey State Firefighter 1, New Jersey State Emergency Medical Technician and/or NREMT w/ CPR, Hazardous Materials Operations, 1-200 Basic Incident Command System and/or Incident Management Level 1. All applicants are to have a minimum of one year experience as a Firefighter / EMT at time of application. Application packets are available for download at www.robbinsvillefire.org or www.robbinsville-twp.org (Forms and Permits / Fire Department). Completed applications must be submitted in person at the fire station located at 1149 Route 130, Robbinsville between 7:00 AM and 3:00 PM Monday through Friday beginning August 3, 2016. Completed applications must be submitted no later than 3:00 PM August 19, 2016.
